SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, an Aerospace & Defense (A&D) multi-site contract manufacturing business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive EBIDTA by 5x within 3-5 years during the hold period.

  • Acquire add-ons that will add scale, product, cross-sell, and multiple arbitrages.
  • Integrate and professionalize recently acquired businesses.
  • Transform this company into a powerful platform to prepare the business for a flexible exit strategy.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed finance leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

  • Business Model: Aerospace & Defense (A&D) manufacturing
  • Functional: Top Financial leader of a $75mm-$400mm A&D manufacturing company OR number two financial leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $500mm-$1B in revenue
  • Orientation: History of driving material linkage between operational activities and financial outcomes
  • Private Equity: Exposure to private equity ownership environments, Board engagement, and value creation plan execution is required
  • Accounting: Solid working knowledge of accounting is required
  • M&A: Experience leading seamless integration of add-on acquisitions is required
  • Tenure: 15-25+ years of experience in financial related roles
