SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Technology Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, an Internet of Things (IoT) product manufacturing business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.
COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.
THE COMPANY:
· Business Model: Electro-mechanical manufacturing
· End Market: Distributors and System Integrators selling into Municipalities (DOTs)
· Revenue Range: $110-120mm
· Hold Period: Exit planned for 2028
· Deal Structure: Control buyout
INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale ahead of exit.

THE SPONSOR: The private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include Industrial, Medical, Aerospace, and Defense markets. Today, the sponsor owns 14 portfolio companies with over $1B in cumulative capital commitments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:
· Business Model: manufacturing experience required; electronics manufacturing experience preferred
· Functional: Top technology leader of a $100mm-$120mm manufacturing company OR number two technology leader within a larger enterprise
· Orientation: Combination of IoT and SaaS experience required
· Private Equity: Not required
· M&A: Not required
· Tenure: 15+ years of progressive career success
