SEARCH MANDATE: We have been retained by a leading private equity firm to find talented and highly motivated leaders to join their Executive-in-Waiting Program. This is a non-binding, low-commitment program designed for anyone who is NOT actively looking to leave their job. The program is meant to be part-time to keep in touch with our client for future opportunities.

Program Details:

• Candidates will participate in quarterly calls to learn & share best practices from the sponsor and other EIW members (who are all sitting PE-backed sales leaders)
• EIW Program Members are eligible to participate in optional special projects (4–6-week projects eligible for compensation)
• Once timing aligns and as CRO/VP of Sales roles become available, well-suited program participants will receive priority consideration and ideally be deployed into open positions.

THE SPONSOR: This New York, NY-based private equity firm has a three-decade track record of transforming small businesses. It invests across several key sectors and currently owns more than 100 portfolio companies. Today the sponsor has more than $15B in assets under management. Its over $2.5B of dry powder includes $1B earmarked for add-on acquisitions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek passionate, committed leaders whose backgrounds most likely include:

• Business Model(s): SaaS, Tech Services, or Business Services
• Functional: The candidate will be either a current CRO, EVP of Sales, SVP of Sales, or VP of Sales of a mid-market company. 
• Orientation: Heavy sales orientation is required.
• Hold Period: Candidates must be anywhere from 6-24 months away from exit.
• Private Equity: Experience within a private equity-backed environment is required.
• Tenure: 15+ years of progressive career success.
