LOCATION: Atlanta, GA 

RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners 

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a multisite services business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis for this platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

  • Business Model: Multi-Site Services 
  • End Market: B2B 
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout 

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale. 

  • Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial and business plans, providing analysis, insights, and specific guidance to the Board of Directors.  
  • Oversee the evaluation and due diligence process for potential acquisition targets, including financial and operational analysis, interrogation of assets and liabilities, financial modeling, and recommendations and reporting to the Board of Directors. 

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include franchise, multi-unit consumer, healthcare services, and industrial middle market opportunities. Today the sponsor has $1.5 billion in cumulative capital commitments. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: Multi-Site Healthcare Services 
  • Functional: Top financial leader of a $15-$100mm services company OR number two operational leader within a larger enterprise 
  • Orientation: A mix of Accounting and FP&A experience is preferred 
  • Private Equity: PE experience is highly preferred 
  • M&A: Solid integration experience required 
  • Tenure: 10+ years of progressive career success
