SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking a transformational Chief Executive Officer to lead a newly acquired multi-site industrial manufacturing business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity. 

THE COMPANY: 

  • Business Model: Multi-site manufacturing 
  • End Markets: Industrial, pharmaceutical, A&D 
  • Revenue Range: Mid-market 
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout 

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale to exit in 4-5 years. 

  • Drive growth through commercial excellence, product line expansion, international business development, and M&A. 
  • Standardize GTM strategy, pricing, margin management, and operational systems. 
  • Enable digital transformation and lean manufacturing practices. 

THE SPONSOR: This California-based private equity firm has an AUM of $3B with over 80 total investments. It invests across several key sectors such as aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, precision manufacturing and healthcare sectors. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a strategic, operationally grounded leader with a track record of leading transformation in manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will bring: 

  • Business Model: Industrial Manufacturing 
  • Functional: CEO of a $70M+ manufacturing company OR number two President/COO of a $200M+ business with full P&L responsibility. 
  • Orientation: Operationally grounded transformation leader — capable of driving scale, integrating acquisitions, and institutionalizing systems in a multi-site manufacturing environment. 
  • Private Equity: Preferred. 
  • M&A: Solid integration experience preferred. 
  • GTM Channels: Mix of OEM, global distributor, and direct e-commerce channels highly preferred. 
  • Tenure: 15+ years of progressive career success
