SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right President to lead one of its portfolio companies, a B2B distribution and services business. This person would then take on the role of CEO after a year at the business in an organized and well-planned succession process. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

THE SPONSOR: This New York City-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include professional services, industrial services, environmental services, and manufacturing. Today the sponsor owns over a dozen active portfolio companies and nearly $1B in AUM. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

• Business Model: Logistically intensive and/or outsourced business 
• Functional: Senior commercial leader, President or Division President, Business Unit Leader, or other title with similar scope 
• Orientation: Commercial orientation is required 
• Private Equity: Not required 
• M&A: Solid integration experience required 
• Tenure: 15+ years of progressive career success
