LOCATION: Cleveland Metropolitan Area

SEARCH MANDATE: Our client is seeking the right Chief Commercial Officer to lead their company, a B2B financial services provider.  

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity. 

THE COMPANY: 

  • Business Model: Health benefits and financial services 
  • End Market: SMBs 
  • Employee Count: 180 

GROWTH THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale to roughly $550mm within 1-2 years. 

  • Optimize GTM to expand relationships with strategic broker partners by direct involvement in complex sales cycles. 
  • Drive revenue growth through education to increase employer awareness, brand building, integrated demand generation and conversion strategies.  

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: B2B financial services or business services.  
  • Functional: Top sales leader of a middle market company OR number two sales leader within a larger enterprise.  
  • Orientation: Sales management with experience selling a conceptual and/or emerging product is required. Experience selling both directly to SMBs and indirectly through broker/partner/affiliate distribution network is required. 
  • Tenure: 10+ years of progressive career success.
