RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners

SEARCH MANDATE: A middle-market private equity firm focused on manufacturing and energy is seeking a Senior Advisor, Audit Chair to support multiple portfolio companies within the manufacturing space. The right candidate will ensure financial integrity, compliance, and risk oversight while leading the Audit Committees and serving as a strategic thought partner for senior management.


THE COMPANY:

·       Business Model: Manufacturing

·       Revenue Range: Approximately $100mm

·       Hold Period: Exit planned for 2028-2029

·       Deal Structure: Control buyout


INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business into a high-growth platform while driving operational efficiencies and strategic acquisitions.

  1. Focus on organic and inorganic growth to expand market presence and operational capacity.
  2. Strengthen the financial systems and risk oversight to support sustainable scale.

THE SPONSOR: A private equity firm focused on manufacturing and energy. The firm employs an innovative governance model, emphasizing the importance of experienced Senior Advisors in driving the success of portfolio companies.


CANDIDATE PROFILE: The ideal candidate will be an accomplished, intellectually rigorous senior finance leader with a strong track record of optimizing financial and operational performance.


  • Business Model: Manufacturing (preferably high mix, low volume)
  • Functional: Senior finance executive with experience as a CFO at one or more private equity-backed companies, or as a CFO at a publicly traded company. The right candidate has a background in manufacturing and has led finance for businesses with over $500mm in revenue.
  • Orientation: Strong finance and accounting background with a deep understanding of financial planning, reporting, and operational support.
  • Private Equity: Experience working with private equity-backed companies is preferred.
  • Exit Experience: is required.
  • Tenure: 30+ years of progressive career success.
