SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for one of its portfolio companies, a distribution business operating within a complex and data-rich environment. The Company is looking for a CFO who can provide actionable insights, support commercial decision making, and improve the analytical infrastructure needed to better translate operational, inventory, and sales data into actionable business intelligence while helping support continued growth and a successful future transaction.

• Continue scaling the platform through organic growth initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic acquisitions. 
• Further integrate recent acquisitions while enhancing the commercial and analytical infrastructure to support long-term growth and a successful future transaction. 

THE SPONSOR: This California-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. The firm focuses on defensible industries with recurring revenue characteristics and identifiable opportunities for operational improvement and market share expansion. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

• Business Model: Distribution or other inventory-intensive environments. 
• Functional: Proven CFO of a PE-backed Lower-Middle Market Business.   
• Orientation: Strong analytical and operational finance capabilities with the ability to support cross-functional commercial decision making. 
• Private Equity: Required, 
• M&A: Solid integration experience preferred.
