SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies. The company is a middle-market, B2B marketing services company that is well positioned for increased profitability and poised to grow. Reporting directly to the CEO and indirectly to the Board of Directors, the CFO will be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting and reporting as a member of the senior leadership team responsible for driving business strategy and profitable growth in this company. This is a “roll up your sleeves” environment, with an all-around hands-on approach.

THE SPONSOR: The private equity firm has a two-decade track record of transforming small businesses. It invests across a number of key sectors including B2B and B2C services, healthcare, and IT, and has steadily grown throughout its history.  

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win, who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:   

• Business Model: Tech services or Retail  
• Functional: 15+ years of progressive financial management experience, ideally a top financial executive of a similarly sized company, or a #2 financial leader at a larger sized company.  
• Orientation: Technical proficiency in inventory accounting and an understanding of NetSuite ERP, CRM, and relevant billing dependencies is required  
• Private Equity: Highly preferred
