RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners 

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Revenue Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a SaaS business selling to SMBs. The sponsor is prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods before eyeing an exit in 2026. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity. 

THE COMPANY: 

  • Business Model: B2B SaaS and Services 
  • End Market: SMBs in Healthcare, Accounting, and Legal industries 
  • Revenue Range: Mid-market 
  • Hold Period: Exit planned for 2026 
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout 

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business, drive scale, and lead the company through exit in the next 12-18 months 

  • Optimize GTM to drive new logo and cross-sell/upsell within a large existing customer base 
  • Maximize reach and efficiency by strategically adding new, scalable partners 
  • Drive revenue growth across all customer verticals, segments and profiles 

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, Tech-Enabled Products & Services, Financial Services & FinTech, and Digital Media. Today the sponsor owns over 10 portfolio companies and has $1.5B AUM. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: B2B SaaS business selling into SMB 
  • Functional: Top commercial leader of a middle-market software company OR number two commercial leader within a larger enterprise 
  • Orientation: Sales Management  
  • Private Equity: Not required, but preferred 
  • M&A: Solid integration experience required 
  • Tenure: 20+ years of progressive career success
