RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners 

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Managing Director to lead one of its portfolio companies, an experiential marketing services business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

  • Revenue Range: Upper Middle Market 
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout 

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale. 

  • Identify, evaluate, prioritize and execute ROI-driven initiatives to better position the company for continued and sustainable scale.   
  • Drive organizational change by aligning stakeholders around improved processes and performance outcomes  
  • Further strengthen customer partnerships through tailored product design and exceptional service levels. 
  • Integrate any strategically aligned add-on acquisitions. 

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include enterprise software and technology-enabled services, along with transportation & logistics, healthcare, and distribution industries. The firm consistently has top quartile returns across numerous vintages.   

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: Experiential marketing 
  • Functional: CEO or other top leader at an upper middle market experiential marketing company OR President, COO, or Divisional President within a larger enterprise 
  • Orientation: Operational orientation  
  • Private Equity: Preferred 
  • M&A: Integration experience preferred 
  • Tenure: 13+ years of progressive career success
