SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a global manufacturing business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale to roughly $400mm within 4-5 years.

·      Drive scalable growth through improved cash flow discipline, working capital management, and operational alignment.

·      Build strong linkage between sales and operations to improve forecasting accuracy and execution.

·      Lead disciplined add-on M&A, including integration, planning and long term value creation.

THE SPONSOR: This West Coast-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include services, manufacturing, industrials, specialty retails, transportation and food & consumer. Today the sponsor owns 50+ portfolio companies and has $1B+ in cumulative capital commitments.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

·      Business Model: International manufacturing

·      Functional: Top financial leader of a $75mm-$200mm international manufacturing company OR number two financial leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $200mm-$600mm+ in revenue

·      Orientation: CFO with deep international manufacturing experience, strong operational acumen, and a proven record of success driving growth in PE-backed businesses.

·      Private Equity: Required

·      Global Manufacturing: Required

·      M&A: Solid integration experience preferred

·      Tenure: 20-30+ years of progressive career success
