• Combine the company’s proven product expertise and value-add services to capture a disproportionate share of a growing market with significant external tailwinds 
• Transition the company to Private-Equity ownership, and fully professionalize the business as it scales 

THE SPONSOR: This California-based private equity firm with $1B AUM acquires and builds engineered solutions companies in the medical, life science, industrial, and aerospace & defense markets.  

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

• Business Model: Specialty Distribution 
• Functional: Top executive leader of a $150mm-$700mm distribution company OR number two executive leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $700mm-$1B in revenue. 
• Orientation: Heavy operational orientation is required. 
• Private Equity: Not required 
• M&A: Solid integration experience preferred 
• Tenure: 20-35+ years of progressive career success
