LOCATION: Remote; EST and CST Preferred

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead one of its portfolio companies, an IT Systems Integration Services business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity. 

THE COMPANY: 

  • Business Model: IT Systems Integration Services 
  • End Market: Professional services, agribusiness, distribution, manufacturing, and field services 
  • Hold Period: Exit planned for 2029  

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale and exit within 5-6 years: 

  • Complete acquisitions that will add scale, service offerings, and multiple arbitrage 
  • Driving organic growth with a significant focus on top-of-funnel lead generation along with salesforce effectiveness 
  • Professionalization across all functions as the business scales 

THE SPONSOR: This New York-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include business services, industrials, healthcare, tech, and telecom. Today the sponsor owns 27 portfolio companies with $7.7B AUM.  

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: IT Systems Integration Services, cloud application partner  
  • Functional: Top sales leader of a $200mm-$500mm IT Services business OR number two/divisional sales leader within a larger enterprise 
  • Orientation: Heavy sales orientation is required with related experience leading both sales and marketing functions 
  • Private Equity: Preferred but not required  
  • M&A: Robust experience in cross-selling of acquired products and services 
  • Tenure: 15+ years of progressive career success
