SEARCH MANDATE: We have been retained by a leading private equity firm to identify a talented and highly motivated leader to serve as VP of Portfolio Operations within its portfolio. Reporting to the Operating Partners and Investment teams, this experienced, results-driven, operationally oriented VP will play a key role in helping the portfolio companies execute their long-term organic and acquisition-driven growth plans. The VP will support portfolio company leadership teams in all aspects of financial management, including business planning and budgeting, development of metrics to drive performance improvement, management reporting, continuous improvement, and cost-benefit analysis of key capital investments.

INVESTMENT THESIS:

·      Complete recapitalizations, build-ups, carve-outs, and generational transitions to transform portfolio companies into powerful platform businesses.

·      Build high-potential businesses through operational improvements and acquisitions.

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. It invests in smaller, lower-middle market manufacturing, services, and consumer companies.

·      Functional: #2 Financial leader of a lower middle market business

·      Orientation: Early accounting experience and financial experience required
