SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a construction services business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

THE SPONSOR: Midwest-based private equity firm with over two decades of experience investing in and growing lower middle-market companies. They specialize in industrial, business services, and consumer sectors. The firm distinguishes itself through value-added capabilities in global supply chain management, data & digital strategies, human capital development, and M&A execution. To date, the firm has completed over 160 investments, totaling more than $10B in transaction value.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

  •  Business Model: Construction services
  •  Functional: Top financial leader of a $25mm-$100mm company OR number two financial leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $50mm-$250mm in revenue
  • Orientation: Previous accounting experience with current finance function
  • Private Equity: Required
  • M&A: Solid diligence and integration experience highly preferred
