RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners 

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis on this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity. 

THE COMPANY: 

  • Business Model: Multi-Site Services 
  • End Market: Residential and Commercial  
  • Revenue Range: Mid-market 
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout 

INVESTMENT THESIS:  

  • Transform the business into a scaled, professionalized gate and fencing installation services platform
  • Integrate and unify the first two businesses combined under this holding company. 
  • Build a strong operational backbone that supports organic growth, pricing, rigor, and geographic expansion. 

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include business services, specialty trade services, industrial services, and field operations-intensive platforms. The sponsor maintains a focused portfolio and is actively investing in companies with strong growth potential and opportunities for both operating improvement and strategic M&A. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: Multi-site B2B or B2C 
  • Functional: Sitting CFO of a services company OR number two finance leader within a larger enterprise. 
  • Orientation: Strong operator with experience in FP&A, pricing, job costing, reporting, and field operations support 
  • Private EquityPreferred 
  • M&A: Solid integration experience required 
  • Tenure15+ years of progressive career success
