SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client seeks a transformational VP of Sales to scale a high-growth SaaS platform. The sponsor is executing an aggressive growth thesis combining organic execution with strategic M&A to increase revenue by exit.

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

THE COMPANY:

·       Business Model: Multi-Product SaaS platform

·       Revenue Range: Mid-market

·       Hold Period: Exit planned for 2027

·       Deal Structure: Control buyout

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale within 4-5 years.

·       Build industry’s dominant SaaS Platform through product expansion and tuck-in acquisitions

·       Transform this entrepreneurially led company into a powerful platform business.

·       Acquire add-ons that will add scale, product, cross-sell, and multiple arbitrages.

THE SPONSOR: This San Francisco-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include SaaS, defense, aerospace, critical infrastructure services, industrial & medical technology, life sciences and specialty materials. Today the sponsor owns 27 portfolio companies and has $1.2B in cumulative capital commitments.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

·       Business Model: PE-backed SaaS

·       Functional: Current Vice President of Sales owning full revenue cycle

·       Orientation: Heavy sales orientation is required with related experience across marketing, strategy, and operations

·       Private Equity Experience: Must have

·       Tenure: 10-20 years of progressive sales leadership
