RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Revenue Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a SaaS business. The PE sponsor is bullish in driving sales growth ahead of a potential 2025/2026 exit.

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

THE COMPANY:

·      Business Model: SaaS

·      End Market: B2B

·      Hold Period: Exit planned for 2025/2026

·      Deal Structure: Control buyout

INVESTMENT THESIS: Execute on GTM initiatives to deliver 10-15% organic growth and 40% EBITDA margins in the next 12-18 months.

·      Restructure the sales organization to increase penetration up-market and accelerate cross-selling.

·      Develop and execute a target account-based marketing and solution packaging sales strategy to penetrate key accountings and drive revenue growth.

·      Implement a comprehensive sales enablement program to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team.

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include business services, SaaS, consumer brands, and education. The sponsor currently owns many portfolio companies and has steadily grown throughout its history.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

·      Business Model: SaaS

·      Functional: CRO of a lower-middle market PE-backed SaaS company OR number two commercial leader within an upmarket PE-backed SaaS company

·      Orientation: Heavy sales orientation is required with related experience across marketing, strategy, and operations

·      Private Equity: Highly preferred

·      M&A: Experience integrating a suite of products is required

·      Tenure: 20-35+ years of progressive career success
