SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Executive Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, an industrial manufacturing business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

THE COMPANY:

·      Business Model: Industrial Supplies Manufacturing

·      End Market: Products sold into Mining, HVAC, Aviation, Automotive, Military, Agriculture, Construction, etc.

·      Revenue Range: Lower-middle market

·      Hold Period: Exit planned for 2028

·      Deal Structure: Control buyout

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale

·      Organic growth through reorganization of GTM to drive increased production

·      M&A add-ons to bolster end-markets, vertical integration capabilities, and further scale

·      Margin expansion through increased operational improvements

THE SPONSOR: This New York-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Today the sponsor owns 13 portfolio companies and has $500mm in AUM.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

·      Business Model: B2B Industrial manufacturing

·      Functional: CEO of a $20mm-$50mm manufacturing company OR number two President, COO, or CCO within a larger enterprise responsible for $50mm-$300mm in revenue

·      Orientation: Heavy sales/commercial orientation is required

·      Private Equity: Highly preferred

·      M&A: Nice to have

·      Tenure: 20-35+ years of progressive career success
