RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners 

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to join one of its portfolio companies, a multi-site healthcare business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

  • Business Model: Healthcare Multi-site services      
  • End Market: Consumer 
  • Revenue Range: Lower Middle Market
  • Hold Period: Exit planned for 2027 
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout 

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale 4-5 years.  

Integrate and rebrand any acquisitions made under this holding company

Transform this entrepreneurially led company into a powerful platform business.   

Acquire add-ons that will add scale, product, cross-sell, and multiple arbitrage. 

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses in the lower middle market. Their investments focus on service companies, with an emphasis on healthcare and outsourced business and industrial support services. The sponsor works closely with management teams to create value in its portfolio companies. Today, they own numerous portfolio companies and have $1.2B in assets under management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: Healthcare Multi-site services     
  • Functional: Top financial leader of a lower middle market multi-healthcare business OR number two financial leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $150mm-$300mm in revenue 
  • Orientation: Heavy FP&A orientation is preferred with related experience across healthcare-centric multi-site services
  • Private Equity: Is highly preferred
  • M&A: Experience integrating add-ons is strongly preferred. Experience leading a successful sale/exit process is also a plus. 
  • Tenure: 15-30 years of progressive career success
