RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners 

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a manufacturing business that has enjoyed 20% YoY revenue growth and 50% EBITDA growth over the past two years. They are looking for the right financial leader to help them continue scaling this company through both organic and inorganic methods. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ACHIEVE:  

  • Execute on a comprehensive business strategy that utilizes both organic and acquisitive growth to drive profit and optimize the company's financial performance in preparation for a sale within the next 24 months 
  • Drive a rigorous business planning process including operating budgets and results as they affect the long-term performance of the business and eventual exit value 
  • Create accurate and useful levels of information, performance, reporting, and key metrics on a timely basis for management and investors including recommending benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of departments 
  • Lead, manage, assess, and help build a high-performance team and growth culture based on execution, providing value to customers, direct communication, compliance, and accountability 
  • Manage systems assessment and migration for the existing business and focus on systems accounting, control, and service issues in integrating newly acquired businesses 

PAST EXPERIENCE: Here are some examples of past career accomplishments that will position a candidate well for success in this role:  

  • Previous financial leadership in a private equity backed business OR experience in managing banking relationships with lenders in a leveraged environment  
  • Successful financial integrations of add-ons and acquired companies 
  • 15+ years of progressive career success
