BSC’s products are low-cost but critical components to customers’ operations with high costs of failure (i.e., downtime or injury). BSC operates out of 7 locations across New England and serve customers across diverse end markets, including healthcare, automation, semiconductor, general industrial and food and beverage. BSC is differentiated due to its deep product expertise, excellent customer service, and value-added services offerings. Over 65% of BSC’s revenue is driven by value-added services such as vendor managed inventory, assembly, kitting, product development, custom sourcing, and engineering services.

In July 2023, the company was recapitalized by Benford Capital Partners (“Benford Capital” or “BCP”) for estate planning purposes and to support long-term growth, both organically and via add-on acquisition.

Founded in 2004, BCP is a Chicago-based private equity firm focusing on building niche market-leading companies in partnership with founders and management.
