SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking a talented and highly motivated leader to serve as a Financial Operating Partner within its portfolio. Reporting to the Group CEO, the Financial Operating Partner will oversee multiple portfolio companies. They will work closely with portfolio company management teams as a “hands-on” resource providing oversight, support, and guidance while driving for results and establishing a high-performance culture of accountability.

THE SPONSOR: This Midwest-based private equity firm is a diversified investor with a portfolio that includes control ownership of several portfolio companies and minority positions in other assets and securities. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader who is hands-on and execution-focused with a strategic perspective. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

• 20+ years of progressive and upwardly mobile finance experience, including 5+ years of recent leadership experience at the CFO level 
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment is required 
• Experience as CFO of a private equity-backed, middle market company that realized a compelling IRR/MOIC at exit is required. 
• CFO experience in Mult-site services or Logistics is highly preferred 
• Experience leading a business through periods of dynamic changes and challenges 
• Strong leadership ability, interpersonal skill set, mentorship mentality, and competitive nature
