SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Executive Officer to diligence potential engineering services business and lead the newly acquired portfolio company as their CEO. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

THE SPONSOR: This New York-based private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Today the sponsor owns over 30 portfolio companies and has $4B in cumulative capital commitments.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

• Business Model: Engineering Services 
• Functional: CEO of a middle market company OR a key number-two within a larger enterprise
• Orientation: Operational orientation is required with related experience across marketing, strategy, and sales
• Private Equity: Highly preferred 
•  M&A: Not required but preferred
•  Engineering Degree: Not required, but preferred
•  Tenure: 15-25+ years of progressive career success
