SEARCH MANDATE: We have been retained by a leading private equity firm to find talented and highly motivated leaders to join their Chief Financial Executive-in-Waiting Program. This is a non-binding, low-commitment program designed for anyone who is NOT actively looking to leave their job. The program is meant to be part-time to keep in touch with our client for future opportunities.

INVESTMENT THESIS:

• Candidates will participate in a quarterly call to learn more about the sponsor and how they run their portfolio businesses.
• Candidates will have an opportunity to experience sponsor programming, engage in one-on-one chats with finance executives, and collaborate in an online forum to expand their knowledge and exposure.
• Once Candidates take their companies through an exit, as CFO roles become available, well-suited program participants will receive priority consideration and ideally be deployed into open CFO positions. If suitable positions are not available, candidates may be invited into the CFO in Residence program.

THE SPONSOR: This New York, NY-based private equity firm has a three-decade track record of transforming small businesses. It invests across several key sectors and currently owns more than 100 portfolio companies. Today the sponsor has more than $13B in assets under management. Its $2.5+B of dry powder includes $1B earmarked for add-on acquisitions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek enthusiastic, committed leaders with a contagious will to win and an insistent desire to improve the business. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

• Business Model(s): Multi-site Services, Tech Services, SaaS, Franchising, or Business Services
• Functional: Current CFO of a lower-middle market company
• Orientation: Early career accounting experience is required.
• Hold Period: Candidates must be anywhere from 6-24 months away from exit.
• Private Equity: Experience within a private equity-backed environment is required.
• Tenure: 15+ years of progressive career success.
