SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Head of Marketing to lead one of its portfolio companies, a Multi-Site Water System Safety business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.
COMPENSATION: A competitive salary and an annual bonus make for a compelling economic opportunity.
THE COMPANY:
· Business Model: Outsourced Management of Water System Safety Programs
· End Market: Municipalities, Hospitals, and Industrial.
· Revenue Range: $15mm-$20mm
· Hold Period: Exit planned in the next 4-5 years
· Deal Structure: Control buyout
INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale to roughly $75mm within 4-5 years.
· Executing organic growth with significant white space in key verticals of municipal, healthcare, and industrial
· M&A opportunity to expand TAM by way of geography and end-market
· Professionalization of all functions as the business scales
THE SPONSOR: This New York-based private equity firm has a three-decade track record of transforming small businesses. The sponsor currently owns many portfolio companies and has steadily grown throughout its history.
CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future.
Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:
· Business Model: Multi-Site Services
· Functional: Top marketing leader of a $50mm multi-site Services company OR number two marketing leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $50mm-$300mm in revenue
· Orientation: Field Marketing orientation is required with related experience across demand lead generation and revenue growth marketing
· Private Equity: Highly Preferred
· M&A: Not required
· Tenure: 10-25 years of progressive career success
