SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Revenue Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a SaaS business serving enterprise organizations. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 


COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity. 


THE COMPANY: 

  • Business Model: SaaS 
  • End Market: Enterprise Organizations in CPG, food/beverage, supply chain, manufacturing, and retail
  • Revenue: $40mm
  • Hold Period: Exit planned for 2026
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout 


INVESTMENT THESIS:

·       Strengthen the company’s position by leveraging its unique compliance and traceability solutions.

·       Drive significant revenue growth through targeted cross-selling within the existing customer base.

·       Global and Regulatory Expansion: Capitalize on regulatory changes and expand into key international markets for increased market share.


THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm is a global leader that invests in the lower middle market. The fund leverages time-tested systems, processes, and methodologies to transform small companies into market leaders. 


CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

  • Business Model: SaaS (sold into CPG, food/beverage, supply chain, manufacturing, or retail)
  • Functional: Top sales leader of a $30mm-$75mm SaaS company OR number two sales leader within a larger enterprise responsible for >$75mm in revenue 
  • Orientation: Heavily biased towards proven enterprise SaaS sales leaders who have sold a suite of product offerings
  • Private Equity: Highly preferred
  • M&A: Highly preferred
  • Tenure: 20-35+ years of progressive career success
